Turner Road Farm will use their $5,000 loan for the purchase of a tilt table used for trimming hooves and vaccinations of their sheep flock. The table will allow smoother treatments of the flock and keep sheep and farmer safer during the process.

The Co-op recently awarded Hoopsnake Farm a $5,000 loan for startup costs for a new hog farm. The money will go toward buying feed and seed for cover crops in the pasture. The farm is run by Madeline Gould and is in Brule.
