Meet at the co-op parking lot, and we will caravan North to Yoman Farm, Maple Hill Farm, and North Wind Organic Farm. See where a few our local products come from! Exact schedule TBD. Please prepare for the day, bring water, your own lunch and what ever else you need to be comfortable in the sun.

Yoman Farm is a vegetable farm run by one of our Board members, John Adams! He uses organic soil amendments and organic growing techniques on three acres of crops. Horses are pastured on the farm as well and make up the foundation of the soil fertility. He primarilly produces for Bayfield Foods CSA.

Maple Hill Farm, founded in 1995, is a solar powered family farm that produces a variety of sustainably raised farm products. They supply the co-op with lots of fun products from dryer balls, to soap, to wheat flour!

North Wind Organic Farm supplies with jams year round.  The farm emphasizes solar and wind energy, ecological decision making, self-reliance and beyond organic production of fruits and vegetables. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and an assortment of tree fruits provide the foundation for harvest from the summer solstice through freeze up.
