HANDS-ON – Change the cultivars on existing fruit trees or select fruit you desire on a young seeding with the ancient art of grafting. You can even grow more types of apples on a single tree! Demonstration of three basic grafting techniques will be presented. Assess the status of grafts made years ago at North Wind. Participants will graft and take home a young apple tree, if desired. Limit of 10 participants. Bring a sharp, small knife (if possible).
