DISCUSSION & HANDS ON – Have you ever wondered how green coffee beans can possibly turn into the dark deliciousness that fills your coffee cup each morning? This two-class course will offer just that. The first class will be an overview of the seed to roast process, a macro-level look at how the roasting gets the results we want and a micro-level look at the science behind the beans. The second class will be a tour and demonstration at the roaster, where participants will roast coffee, taste it, and then leave with the coffee they helped roast.
