Hop, skip or bike on down to the Ashland Area Farmer’s Market for Kids Day this Saturday, July 12! The Chequamegon Food Co-op is hosting the annual event from 8 a.m. to noon. Here are a few of the highlights:
- Chequamegon Food Co-op will have a giveaway for kids 12 and under (must be present to win, drawing at 11:30), free snacks, and Cheeky Monkey activities, including a free gift and coloring.
- Music by the O’Bros
- Kamp Kenwood will have face painting, drawing for a free camp stay, and cooperative games.
- The Ashland Fire Department will be here with a fire vehicle.
- Granny Goose from the Vaughn Public Library will read stories from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Ashland Parks and Rec will have activities and information.
- A Natural Branch of Learning will share information.
- Seeds of Well Being will have child massage and a kids’ space.
- Joy Schelble will be here with her blender bike from 10:30 until noon.
- Family Forum will be here with information.
- Free plants for kids from Earth Sense and Freehands Farm.
