10 Fabulous Fall Treats

If you’re well past the age of trick or treating, there’s no reason to skip out on the fun. We’ve collected 10 sweet treats to help you enjoy the season. On a special diet such as vegan or paleo? Don’t worry, there are treats in here for you too!

Pear, Apple & Cranberry Tarte Tatin – This ultimate fall and winter tart showcases the best fruits of the season: pears, apples and cranberries. Unlike other tarts, the tarte tatin is made upside down in a skillet. You start by cooking the fruit, then top it with the dough, carefully tuck in the edges and let it cook. When it’s ready you invert the whole tart onto a plate. It comes out looking beautiful and is actually much easier than you might imagine. If you love the look of our featured image, make your tarts in muffin tins and arrange the fruit in different patterns for interest.

Apple Cider Floats – Sparkling apple juice adds the bubbles you would expect in a float and local apple cider makes the flavor fresh. You’ll need to scroll a bit to grab the recipe on this one, but it is worth it!

Salted Toffee Chocolate Bars – Quick, easy and irresistible, these salty-sweet, crispy and chewy bars are a perfect holiday treat or DIY gift.

Pumpkin Cheesecake – The richness of pumpkin makes up for a decidedly lower-fat cheesecake. Nobody will know that you used neufchatel and fat-free yogurt to shave off a few grams of fat in this perfectly creamy and delicious dessert.

Paleo Apple Maple Muffins – “These Paleo apple muffins are fuss-free and completely maple sweetened. They get extra apple flavor from grated and diced apples.
