HANDS-ON – Learn more about the timing and techniques for sap collection, discover various species of sap-producing trees, and identify some of them in the neighborhood around the Co-op. You will also taste-test several varieties of pre-harvested saps, as well as maple butters and sugar. We will also transform sap into syrup in the kitchen and demonstrate creative ways to use these wonderful tree products in your own home-cooking.
